Project Names: August 2023 - Lincoln County OHV Staging Area Planning Applicant: Lincoln Communities Action Team Grant Request: 17, 538 Synopsis: Lincoln Community Action Team (LCAT) seeks planning funding to find a suitable location for an OHV staging area in Lincoln County with proximity to the Silver State National Recreation Trail, and the City of Caliente. Funds will be used for public scoping meetings, land surveys, and travel to successful similar OHV projects in Nevada. Download
Project Names: August 2023 - Mineral County OHV Staging Area Phase 2 Applicant: Mineral County Grant Request: 165,642 Synopsis: Phase 2 funding for the Mineral County Staging area will be used to purchase and construct covered parking structures and Vault Toilets. Download
Project Names: August 2023 - Nevada Ride Safe Ride Smart OHV Safety Education Applicant: Nevada Outdoor School Grant Request: 108,221 Synopsis: Project funding will be used to deliver NOS outdoor learning curriculum to over 1500 youth in rural Nevada. programming includes lessons from the Ride Safe, Ride Smart, TL!, NOS Road Shows around the state. Funding will cover staff time, safety equipment, hand on youth focused OHV training, and marketing for the online Nevada OHV Certification course. Download

Project Names: August 2023 - Ol’ Highway 93 Lincoln County Staging Area Applicant: Reed Perkins Grant Request: 376,778 Synopsis: Phase 1 proposes to construct a six acre staging area open to the public, on private land. Funding will be used to construct a septic system, 2000 sq ft metal building, electrical plumbing, water, solar, UTV, HVAC, 25 year internet. Download
Project Names: August 2023 - Ride Hard, Ride Safe and Educate Applicant: Trespasser Productions Grant Request: 74,992 Synopsis: Project funding will be used to produce 1-2 minute videos highlighting Safe riding practices ($32k), the OHV grant program ($11.8k), Conservation and education ($15.2k), OHV Trail Etiquette ($15.2k) and distribute these videos to a list across Nevada. Project Names: August 2023 - Southern Nevada Trail Clean- ups Applicant: Vegas Valley Four Wheelers Grant Request: 20,000 Synopsis: Funding will be used to establish a cooperative agreement between Vegas Valley 4wheelers and BLM Las Vegas Field Office to complete stewardship tasks on the field office lands. projects including cleanups and education, and outreach will occur every other month between August 2023 through June 2025. Project Names: August 2023 - Stagecoach OHV Trail Applicant: Southern Nye County Conservation District Grant Request: 22,015 Synopsis: Funding will be used to construct perimeter fencing around Stagecoach River parcel to protect river habitat from OHV damage, purchase and install signage redirecting traffic to OHV legal routes, and create a walking trail system to encourage visitation of the riparian corridor on The Nature Conservancy property. Project Names: August 2023 - Storey County NRS 490 Enforcement, Education & Outreach Applicant: Storey COunty Sheriff's Office Grant Request: 67,070 Synopsis: Storey County Sheriff's Office seeks start up funding for their OHV program. Funding will be used to purchase and outfit an OHV and trailer to be used for NRS 490 enforcement, education and outreach at local events. Match funding will be provided by partner organizations having a presence at Storey County Events. Download
Project Names: August 2023- Peavine Maze Connectivity and Restoration Applicant: Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship Grant Request: 280,997 Synopsis: Project funding will be used for planning flagging, design, mapping and NEPA surveys for 20 miles of new class 2 singletrack trail on the Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest. Funding will also be used to adopt 25 miles of user created trails into the system with coordination from the Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest, Carson Ranger District. Download

Additionally, it will fund satisfaction enhancing patrols on public lands and increase law enforcement attendance at public outreach events. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - Elko Motocross Track, Phase II Applicant: Elko Motocross Club Grant Request: $287,451.99 Synopsis: Phase II of the Elko Motocross Track will focus on installing a 750' waterline to provide water to the complex. Funding is also required for purchasing equipment for the complex such as a tractor and bleachers. A pre-built building will be installed for event registration and to house riding equipment. Project Names: December 2022 - Installation of Fiberglass Signs at Intersections and Kiosk in Gold Butte Monument and Surrounding Areas Applicant: Kokopelli ATV Club of Mesquite NV Grant Request: $41,312 Synopsis: This project will install a two-panel kiosk south of Mesquite and 150 signs at intersections on main roads and trails in the Gold Butte Monument area. Project Names: December 2022 - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Stateline Resident Section Applicant: Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Grant Request: $47,284 Synopsis: Grant funding will be used to improve on the LVMPD OHV enforcement and education program. This application will also fund an OHV SxS for use in this program and law enforcement. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - Logandale Trails System Trail Maintenance Equipment Applicant: Vegas Valley Four Wheelers Grant Request: $30,058.06 Synopsis: Requesting funding to obtain a smaller, more versatile maintenance vehicle to continue their stewardship of trails. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - Nevada Off-road Association - Desert Pigs Equipment Applicant: Nevada Off-road Association Grant Request: $15,260.00 Synopsis: This project is to buy a dump trailer for the newly formed Elko chapter of the Desert Pigs. The Desert Pigs are a volunteer group that works throughout Nevada removing refuse from public lands. This trailer will be used for their cleanups around the Elko area. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - Nevada Off-road Association Education and Outreach Applicant: Nevada Off-road Association Grant Request: $161,258.00 Synopsis: The Nevada Off-road Association (NVORA) advocates and provides support for motorized outdoor recreation throughout the state. This grant request is to fund NVORA through 2023. NVORA advocates for responsible recreation through education, awareness, media, outreach, and alliances. Their values align with Tread Lightly! T.R.E.A.D principals. NVORA continues to promote Nevada clubs and non-governmental organizations in securing funding to improve OHV access and utility on public lands. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - Nevada Off-road Association Pahrump to Tonopah Trail Applicant: Nevada Off-road Association Grant Request: $12,000.00 Synopsis: Funding is requested to purchase a cattle guard to be installed on the Pahrump-Tonopah Trail. The guard will be installed in Armargosa Valley where the trail crosses US-95. This guard will remove the need for recreationalists to stop to open and close the gate creating a safer environment for them, livestock, and traffic on the US-95. Download

Project Names: December 2022 - Off-Highway Vehicle - Marketing and Education to Assist Statewide Law Enforcement & Desert Cleanups Applicant: MXT Media Grant Request: $117,500 Synopsis: MXT Media will utilize funding for OHV project management, public outreach events, video production, trail cleanups, NVOHV website improvement, graphic design and advertising. Project Names: December 2022 - Old Highway 93 OHV Staging Facility Applicant: Reed Perkins Grant Request: $288,365.00 Synopsis: This project would install a new staging area with amenities off of Old Highway 93 in Lincoln County. This would be a multiphase project. Phase one would consist of constructing the staging area, constructing a building for restrooms and storage and acquiring a utility vehicle. Additional funding is required for installation of plumbing, electrical, security cameras, and internet services. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - Return to Dirt Nevada Applicant: High Fives Foundation Grant Request: $ 82,231 Synopsis: Scope of work includes establishing the Return 2 Dirt program for adaptive motorized athletes, producing two to three 5 minute videos through Generikal Design. The R2D requests funding for a SxS to host the program and videos produced at Moonrocks or a similar Nevada based location. Download

Project Names: December 2022 - Road Map to a Successful OHV Program Applicant: Southwest Central Regional Economic Development Authority Grant Request: $15,130.00 Synopsis: The Southwest Central Regional Economic Development Authority is requesting funding to conduct research on what makes a successful OHV program. This project would work with land managers, clubs, and agencies to see what encourages OHV growth in a community. This information will be compiled into a "Road to a Successful OHV Program" guidebook that can be applied to different communities throughout the state. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - Silver State RaceMedX Applicant: Silver State RaceMedX Grant Request: $29,744 Synopsis: Silver State RaceMedX is requesting funding to continue their EMS training program as well as to provide EMS equipment and personnel to events throughout Northern Nevada Download
Project Names: December 2022 - South dry Valley OHV Maintenance and Restoration, Phase 2 Applicant: Great Basin Institute Grant Request: $141,196.12 Synopsis: This grant application will fund trail assessments after winter, trail maintenance, maintenance of drainage features, and training of NCC staff and crew members in SWECO operation/maintenance. Project Names: December 2022 - Storey County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Applicant: Storey County Sheriff Grant Request: $54,638.00 Synopsis: The Storey County Sheriff is requesting funding for a branded side-by-side OHV, outreach items such as a canopy, t-shirts, and handouts, and two sets of safety equipment for operators of the OHV. With this equipment the Storey County Sheriff will increase their OHV education opportunities in schools, as well as work with other organizations to host OHV safety courses on weekends. There will also be increased outreach at local festivals and events. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - Wilson Canyon BLM OHV Remediation, Phase 2 Applicant: Walker Basin Conservancy Grant Request: $62,629.00 Synopsis: The Walker Basin Conservancy is requesting funding to conduct phase II of restoration of Wilson Canyon in Lyon County. This project is focusing on repairing impacts from motorized use and preventing further degradation of sensitive riparian zones. This is in conjunction with the 2003 BLM emergency closure. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - Winnemucca Motocross Association Applicant: Winnemucca Motocross Association Grant Request: $242,000 Synopsis: The Winnemucca Motocross Association is requesting funding to purchase equipment for dust suppression to emphasize safe riding areas. This equipment will be housed at the track and maintained by the Winnemucca Motocross Association. Download
Project Names: December 2022 - World Champion Way Staging Area Applicant: City of Mesquite Grant Request: $205,000 Synopsis: This application will fund an excavator, construction materials, and trailer to assist in the creation and maintenance of a new staging area for Flat Top Mesa in Mesquite.
