The Nevada Off‑Highway Vehicles (OHV) Grant Program invests OHV registration dollars directly back into Nevada’s trails, public lands, and recreation infrastructure. The program supports projects that enhance safe, sustainable off‑road recreation across the state. Off‑road clubs, nonprofit organizations, law enforcement agencies, and federal, state, and local government entities, and other community groups are encouraged to apply. Nevada OHV Applications are accessed through the Nevada Infastructure Finanace System.

Eligible Project Types
The OHV Grant Program can fund projects such as:
- Planning and Studies
Development of plans, studies, and environmental assessments or environmental impact studies for OHV trails and facilities. - Mapping and Signage
Creation and installation of maps and signs for OHV trails and facilities. - Land Acquisition
Purchasing land for OHV trails, trailheads, and related facilities. - Trail Enhancement and Maintenance
Improvements that maintain or enhance existing OHV trails and facilities. - Trail Construction
Building new OHV trails, trailheads, and supporting infrastructure. - Restoration Projects
Restoring areas damaged by OHV use. - Trail Features and Ancillary Facilities
Construction of features such as trailheads, parking areas, and other amenities designed to reduce impacts on sensitive environments and wildlife habitat. - Safety Training and Education
Courses or training that promote safe and responsible OHV operation. - Compliance and Enforcement Efforts
Initiatives that support OHV law enforcement and improve compliance with state OHV requirements.
