Grant funding may be allocated for the following activities:
- OHV Ethics and Safety Education
- Maintenance and Construction
- Off-Road Law Enforcement
- Mapping, Assessment, and Motorized Trail Planning
The Nevada OHV Program has implemented the Nevada Infrastructure Financial System (NIFS), which enables applicants to submit their grant applications electronically.
Why are we transitioning to NIFS? This update represents a significant advancement for OHV grant applicants, allowing for streamlined submission and management of grant applications and reimbursement requests. Grantees will now be able to upload and track all required documents directly within NIFS, eliminating the need for email exchanges and improving overall efficiency.
The OHV Program attended the Mint 400 in Las Vegas. It was a great time promoting the program and what it has to offer. We are hoping we receive some great grant applications this grant round!
